After becoming a freelancer, my life was changed in every way. I found that I had a lot of freedom, which made me think more about my dreams and the life I really want for my kids. It’s like a whole new world just opened up to me! One that I never saw in my dreams. Wow! I was excited. I would wake up in the morning, send the kids to school, then crawl back into bed with my laptop. I would spend long hours on my computer. I was just getting started in the online world, so everything was all new and exciting to me. There was just so much to learn.

As I’m writing this, I’m reflecting on those days. And guess what? I’m actually sitting up in bed and feeling very relaxed writing this post. It’s a great feeling, just knowing that I don’t have to rush out of bed in the mornings to get a cab for work. It’s a great feeling knowing that I can work in my pajamas and eat breakfast in bed while working. I wouldn’t exchange this life for anything.

I started off 3 years ago freelancing as a transcriber and now I’m also a web designer, a social media manager, an author, a freelancing consultant, a speaker, a trainer, a teacher [I teach computer skill], a blogger and I also created a course. I outlined all that I do now to show you that the possibilities are endless. There is no limit to what you can achieve online. And believe me when I tell you, I started out as a complete dummy on the internet. I did know how to google but I didn’t have any skills to earn money online. And it just took a couple years for me to achieve all this. So just imagine how much more I’ll be doing in the next 10 years, just imagine.

It was nice talking to you today. Look out for the next post.

Lol, I get asked that question a lot. In our journey as freelancers we have to work long hours from time to time, to set things in motion.
